ABOUT Ryan

Ryan Spruhan has experienced foodservice from nearly every angle, from his early days in fast food to culinary school, fine dining, hotel kitchens, and eventually manufacturer sales. That time in the kitchen shaped more than his industry knowledge; it taught him humility, teamwork, and that no job is ever too small. As Chrane’s territory manager for Kansas and Western Missouri, Ryan now combines his culinary background with a love for building relationships and finding solutions that genuinely make sense for his customers. He never loses sight of what’s behind the equipment, knowing that what may look like a stack of ovens could represent someone’s lifelong dream of opening a restaurant. Chrane’s brand portfolio gives him the opportunity to help customers bring more of those ideas to life with complete solutions. Kansas City is home for Ryan, where life outside of work revolves around his wife, two young children, and soon-to-arrive Beagle, Timber. When he’s not cooking dinner, you’ll likely find him running, golfing, cheering on the Chiefs, or finding a reason to make someone laugh.

Worth the Run: Ryan’s perfect day starts with a morning run and ends with breakfast with his family, preferably the good stuff. He’ll take an honest, farm-to-table breakfast any day.

Next Stop: Give Ryan a free plane ticket and a week off, and he’s heading to New Zealand. Closer to home, the Smoky Mountains are somewhere he’d return to in a heartbeat.
