ABOUT Johnnie

With more than 30 years in the foodservice industry, Johnnie Merchant joins Chrane as Sales Unit Manger for the Non-Commercial team. His career has spanned the restaurant industry, manufacturing, and foodservice sales, giving him a deep understanding of the challenges customers and teammates face every day. Johnnie was drawn to Chrane because he admired a company that works hard, delivers results, and still knows how to enjoy the journey. He believes the best leaders start by listening and values building strong relationships with the people around him. When he’s not at work, you’ll likely find Johnnie on the ranch, where the quiet, hands-on work is his favorite way to recharge. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, cheering on the Cowboys and Sooners, and can never pass up his mom’s meatloaf.
