ABOUT Chef Scott
With 30 years of experience in the restaurant, hospitality, and culinary industries, Scott Nutter brings a hospitality-first mindset and an attention to detail shaped by decades in the industry to his role as Director of Culinary: Multi-Unit at Chrane. Chrane’s strong focus on customer service and culture immediately resonated with him, although the dad jokes on the Chrane website were one of the first things to catch his attention. In his role, Scott brings that same hospitality mindset to helping clients navigate challenges, find practical solutions, and experience the white-glove service that sets Chrane apart. Even as technology continues to change the industry, Scott believes chef-driven food will never go out of style and that there will always be value in the people and craftsmanship behind it. That appreciation for hands-on experiences carries into life outside of work, where Scott enjoys cooking, rock climbing, and spending time with his wife, two children, and their dogs, Mini Me and Gracie. Chattanooga remains his favorite place he’s lived for one very special reason: it’s where he met his wife.
Beyond the Kitchen: Scott has completed introductory sommelier training, adding wine knowledge to his extensive culinary background.
Unexpected Talent: Scott has an unexpected talent for animal impressions. We’re not sure how many are in his repertoire, but we’re definitely accepting requests!
