about Robert

We’re pumped to welcome Robert Johnson to the Chrane team as our Territory Manager: Non-Commercial Central Texas! Outside of work, Robert loves spending quality time with his wife and two daughters, and he’s all about hunting, fishing, and outdoor cooking. His go-to happy hour spot is his back patio, where you might find him enjoying Tito’s on the rocks with blue cheese olives. If he were a food, he’d be steak—it’s timeless and can be enjoyed at any meal. Originally from Alice, TX, his favorite place he’s lived is Montauk, NY, right at the tip of the eastern US.

Robert’s a family man at heart, cherishing any trip with his loved ones. He’s also a proud dog dad to Romo, Rip, and Sofie (and no plans for more pets!). With over 20 years of experience spanning K-12 culinary, hospitality, non-profit sectors, country clubs, yacht clubs, ski resorts, and personal catering, Robert is excited to help operators achieve their goals and to dive into this side of the business. Why Chrane? His response: “Who wouldn't want to be a Chraniac?” His friends would describe him as loyal, dependable, and funny. He’s a die-hard Dallas Cowboys and NY Yankees fan. Robert’s advice to everyone? Get better every day, be a sponge, and always treat people kindly.
